iOS MDM Install Guide

Enroll your iPhone or iPad in 3 steps. No jailbreak. Works on iOS 15–26.5.

Purchase your iOS plan

Go to xeraxapp.com/#pricing, switch to the 🍎 iPhone tab, and complete your purchase via PayPal. You will immediately receive an email with:

Your member token
Your unique enrollment link
A QR code you can scan directly from the iPhone

✅ No Apple account needed on your side — just a standard iPhone or iPad running iOS 15 or later.

Open the enrollment link on the iPhone

On the target iPhone, open the enrollment link from your email — or scan the QR code. This will open Safari and prompt you to download a configuration profile.

Tap Allow when Safari asks to download the profile.

⚠️ The link must be opened in Safari on the iPhone — not Chrome or any other browser.

💡 You can AirDrop the link, text it to the phone, or display the QR code and scan it with the iPhone camera.

Install the profile in Settings

After downloading, go to:

Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → XeraX MDM → Install

Enter the iPhone passcode when prompted, then tap Install again to confirm. The profile will install in seconds.

You may see a warning that the profile is unsigned — this is normal, tap Install anyway
The device will appear in your portal within 30 seconds
Device info (model, iOS version, battery) may take a few minutes to populate

✅ Done! Your iPhone is now enrolled. Open your portal to view the device.

Remote lock the device with a custom PIN
Enable Lost Mode with a message displayed on screen
View GPS location and location history
See all installed apps and remotely remove them
Push restrictions (disable camera, Safari, App Store, etc.)

FAQ

Common Questions

Does the iPhone need to be jailbroken?

No. XeraX iOS uses Apple's official MDM protocol — the same technology used by corporations to manage employee phones. No jailbreak, no exploits.

Will the user see the profile?

Yes — the profile appears in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. This is a requirement of Apple's MDM protocol on non-supervised devices.

What iOS versions are supported?

iOS 15 through iOS 26.5 (latest). We support all modern iPhones and iPads.

Can the user remove the profile?

On non-supervised devices, yes — the user can remove it from Settings. On supervised devices (via Apple Configurator), removal can be prevented. Our dashboard will alert you if a device unenrolls.

How is the enrollment link delivered?

After purchase, your email includes the enrollment link and a QR code. You can also get it anytime from your portal → iOS Enroll.
